'a long time ago in a galaxy far, far, away...' is the text i used. seemed fitting. it was also a game i had on hand for reference. this painting was for a video gamed themed gallery (SLC, Utah @ Mod a go-go.) it is my first gaming system of my very own. 1996 game boy pocket, the newest model at the time. back then i was teased and told they were for 'boys' as the label indicated, and not for girls or they would have called it a 'game girl'. lol. silly school yard politics never stopped me. thus was born the idea of my painting. so here is my Game Girl in all her glory.
